The Mad Triangle is a dynamic model for identifying trauma, diversity, and insight in experiences of “madness” or psychotic features. An introduction and overview will be provided, which may provide greater tools for psychoeducation, acceptance, and empowerment, particularly by allowing individuals to self-identify healing and social locations that may be further explored as desired. By self-selecting psychological and neurological discomfort, folks experiencing “madness” are empowered to self-determine which aspects of their experiences are problematic, which are special and/or gifts, which are simply divergent experiences, and which experiences are the result of violence, marginalization, and/or oppression.
Join me for a free, public talk on "Diagnosing Bipolar Order," where I will be presenting the positive and compensatory aspects of bipolar symptoms and diagnostic criteria, aimed at empowering individuals, loved ones, and caregivers. Folks that attend will have the opportunity to expand their ideas of bipolar disorder and related challenges.
Please join us for an afternoon workshop on "The Bipolar Experience," where we are co-presenting on topics of intersectionality with regards to bipolar, spirituality, and contemporary, holistic thought aimed at empowering those who've experienced extreme states.
